I was craving some Chinese cuisine and recalled a previous visit to Oriental Chief. I found myself in the vicinity and decided to grab some takeout. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef Chow Fun, Green Beans in Garlic Sauce, and some Pork and Chive Dumplings. I was delighted to see that the Sweet and Sour Pork had pieces of pineapple in it - a detail that I always appreciate in Chinese restaurants. Overall, the meal was exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. less

I recently tried out this restaurant and decided to pick up a to-go order. The food was actually really delicious, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. However, I did notice that the staff seemed a little overwhelmed and rushed, as if they had a lot on their plate. Despite this, I would still consider ordering from them again in the future. less

I can't believe I haven't written a review sooner - I've been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time now, and each visit never disappoints. The flavors in every dish I've tried are simply delicious, and there's something on the menu for everyone to enjoy. The staff is always so welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. I can't recommend this place enough! less

The food at this restaurant was surprisingly good, but the wait time was a bit of a drawback. However, if you're looking to avoid driving all the way out to the bay, it's worth the wait. The servers seemed quite busy and didn't check up on us much, which affected the tip we left. It was just an average tip since the service was mediocre. The crowded atmosphere might be overwhelming for some, so be prepared for that. I only had the dim sum, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu. less

Absolutely thrilled with my recent dining experience at this Chinese restaurant! The new owner and their super friendly staff truly made our evening memorable. The braised beef was incredibly tender, the salt and pepper ribs were perfectly seasoned, and the house wonton had me coming back for seconds. This place is definitely a hidden gem in town! less

On a lazy Sunday afternoon around 3 pm, I decided to check out this hidden gem of a restaurant that offers a fantastic 3 dish deal for just 40.00. You even have the option to add another dish for only 13.99, which is a steal considering the quality of the food. Instead of the traditional dim sum carts, you can select your dishes by ticking off items on a sheet of paper. The menu features a variety of Cantonese dishes like steamed pork with salted fish and boiled chicken with scallion sauce, all of which are delicious and generously portioned. What I loved most about my experience here was the fact that there were no other customers at that time, giving me the whole restaurant to myself. The service was impeccable, and the staff made sure I was well taken care of throughout my meal. The portions were so generous that I ended up taking some leftovers home. However, I must mention the downside of the location. The restaurant is surrounded by homeless camps and litter, which unfortunately takes away from the overall dining experience. It's definitely not the place to take your relatives or a first date if you're looking to impress them. But if you're willing to overlook the exterior surroundings, the food, service, and prices make it well worth a visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! less

Upon stepping into this cozy restaurant at 11am, we were immediately greeted by the bustling atmosphere of people enjoying their dim sum. The servers were quick to seat us in a comfortable corner booth where we eagerly ordered some refreshing water and the BBQ pork. It took a few moments for the dim sum carts to make their way to us, but once they started rolling out, we were spoiled for choice. I decided to try the crispy pork belly, which is usually a favorite of mine, but unfortunately it arrived cold. Luckily, my husband came to the rescue by cleverly using some hot dim sum items to warm them up, making the dish much more enjoyable. The BBQ pork, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious, as were the shu mai, shrimp dumplings, and other items we sampled. The service was efficient and speedy, probably because there was already a line forming by 12pm. It was evident that they wanted to accommodate as many customers as possible. Despite the initial hiccup with the cold dish, we definitely plan to return when we're in town again. The overall experience was enjoyable, and we look forward to trying more of their flavorful dim sum offerings in the future. less

On our third visit to the restaurant for takeout, we were disappointed with the Mongolian Beef. The meat was not as tender as before and there were mostly green bell peppers instead of the promised red peppers. Additionally, the green beans were mushy and lacked flavor. This experience was a stark contrast to our previous visits, where we had high hopes of finding our new favorite Chinese food spot. Despite this letdown, we may still consider giving them another chance in the future. less

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. There was one dish that I had tried before, stuffed tofu, that I absolutely loved. I really hope they bring it back on the menu soon because it was incredibly tasty. Overall, a great dining experience that I would highly recommend to others. less
